In a nutshell, to be eligible for SBI PO 2018 recruitment, the candidate must have the following credentials.
- Age limit (As on 01-04-2018): The candidate must be aged between 21 – 30 years of age as on 01-04-2018.

1. SBI PO Age Limit and Relaxation
The applicant age should not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on April 01, 2018. In other words, a candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd April 1987 and not later than 01st April 1997 (both dates are inclusive)
- Minimum Age – 21 years
- Maximum Age – 30 years
Candidates seeking upper age relaxation are required to submit cast and community certificates at the time of joining. Moreover, the upper age relaxation provided to reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/etc) candidates and it follows as the below given table

2. SBI PO Education Qualification
A candidates should have following education qualifications such as a degree in graduation and a bit of English knowledge.
Any Graduation Degree in any discipline from a university/college recognized by the Government Of India or respective state government or any equivalent education qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply online at sbi.co.in to write the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) exam.
The candidates, who are in the final Semester or year of graduation may also apply but the result of the exam should be declared on or before 31st August, 2018.
In addition to a degree in graduation, the candidates should be able to write and speak English (fluency does not matter)
While submitting SBI clerk online application form, candidates require to enter the total percentage of marks obtained in graduation. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored, i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%. However, the percentage of marks does not matter to apply online for the SBI PO exam, even pass marks in graduation are more than enough to get eligibility to appear in the exam.
3. Number of Chances
The candidate who have not appeared more than 4 times in the SBI PO exam. However, prelims exam will not be counted as a attempt. How many times did you appeared in the SBI PO exam?, it does matter and the state bank of India given number of chances to each candidate based on their caste/community and it follows as:
