Selecting the number of candidates in each category depending upon requirements and number of posts in the state bank of India and associates banks . However, the SBI clerk Prelims exam is only qualifying in nature and will not be counted towards the final total. Main examination scores will play crucial role while preparing the final merit list.
All objective questions in both the SBI clerk prelims and main exams will be bilingual i.e., English and Hindi, except one section that of the English language. No interview in the SBI clerk selection process, the bank abolished it as per the central government instructions.

The overall testing time for the SBI Clerk online test is about 60 minutes. There are three sections – English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. So you require good verbal and reasoning skills to clear the SBI clerk exam 2018.
Aspirants have to qualify in all the 3 sections (English language, numerical ability and reasoning ability) by securing cut off marks to be decided by the state bank of India. Based on the requirements, the SBI will shortlist the candidates of approximately 20 times the numbers of vacancies.
The expected SBI clerk cut off marks 2018 may vary from the last year data and it’s totally depends on the overall requirements, number of vacancy availability , reservations and the overall performance of the candidates in the exam.
There will be negative marking as penalty for wrong answers equal to 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question. Aspirants should maintain good accuracy to achieve cut off marks. However, there will be no penalty, if a question is left by the candidate.

General/financial Awareness, general English, quantitative aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude are four sections, where the applicant require various skills to reach varied SBI clerk cut off marks. The exam pattern of SBI clerk main exam similar to prelims examination except sectional time cutoffs.
if a question is left without marking, it will treated as unmarked and no negative marks. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from the final score. make sure to maintain accuracy and do not attempt tricky questions.
Aspirants should get minimum passing marks decided by bank after completion of evaluation, however, about 5% relaxation available to reserved category candidates – SC, ST, OBC, PWD and XS.
