IBPS Clerk Prelims Syllabus 2017 in Details

Aspirants have to qualify in all 3 sections (English language, numerical ability and reasoning ability) by securing cut off marks to be decided depending upon the requirements for the IBS clerk main exam.
There will be negative marking as penalty for wrong answers equal to 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question. Aspirants should maintain good accuracy to achieve cut off marks. However, there will be no penalty, if a question is left by the candidate.

Only those who qualify through preliminary examination will be eligible to write the IBPS clerk main exam.
There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for wrong answers marked by the candidates in the main examination. It will be deducted from the candidate’s final score. Negative marks will apply in both the preliminary and main examinations.
